|Sally Anne qualified as a teacher at London University, Phillipa Fawcett College in 1974, where she studied art. She received much acclaim for her oil paintings and drawings.
She is married to Peter and has a son and three daughters. Although she is an experienced primary school teacher and private tutor, who has published and written a series of educational books, her principal interest has always been her painting. In 1997 she had her first solo exhibition as a new artist at the Century Gallery, Henley on Thames, and she has worked on a number of commissions for private buyers.
Recently she has completed a series of oil paintings of marine and landscape subjects but works in various media including soft pastels, producing animal, children, and landscape studies in her own original style. She has exhibited her work at a number of galleries.
Much of her enthusiasm is drawn from her interest in the environment. All of her studies are from life and she enjoys working out of doors when possible.
